Tears

This is a pretty famous picture by an artist who I do not like. (Just my taste of art, you may like his work if you search him up.) I find this picture to be rather sad and depressing but it really makes you wonder what she is looking at, what is she thinking about? The thing that stands out for me is her eyes, how the darkness of the mascara on her eyelashes grabs your attention. The tears you see, aren't actually tears, they're glass beads. (Sorry but you can think they're tears and not glass if you like, I know that's what I think.) 

This is one of my all time favourite photographs. I love black and white photography but this has taken up it to a new level for me.
