The place may suck but the people you are with don't and that makes everything better. Because company is everything.

Company is everything
What makes going out worthwhile? Is it the place or the people or even the food? It's not the place or the food, it is the people. You can be in the best place on earth or the worst, but being in the worst places on the planet can turn out to be better than the best, it all depends on the people. I've been to places I really hate and had a good time because of the people and have been to the best places and had the worst times because I had no one. (If you're out with people and there's food, they both make it worthwhile.)

Deciding
Knowing where you are going college and still going to all the others just in case you find a better one. Now you've found another college you like and having to choose between two colleges that both stand at equal first place. It is so hard to choose. Both are big, have the classes I want, the teachers are great at both and I like both of them. One is two buses away and the other a twenty minute walk. Both close to family and them side. I'd like friends at college but sometimes that isn't the case.
Don't make you're mind up now. Apply for both and decide later on.

Messing it up?
Hey guys. My deepest apologies for yesterday and there being no post.
Needing time out or time away from people? Feeling like you made a wrong turn and are heading down the wrong path? Being yourself and hurting others unintentionally? Taking the blame and not knowing about any of it until it's too late? If I had the choice to start over and do it all again, I wouldn't. People make mistakes and that's how you learn. Hurting people in the process, losing friends and feeling so lost you don't think anyone can help. Complications is the way of life. You have your ups and downs because life is not a straight line.

But it always finds a way to piece itself back together.

Interviews
The big scary thing everyone has to go thought before they get a job. Where you sit on one side of the desk and answer questions. I had my first job interview today and it wasn't like that at all really. I had a form or two to fill out, had to say a little about myself and interview over. I wasn't nervous a little at first yes, but after a few minutes I was happier than ever and enjoying it. After you've done one interview, others become easier. Sooner or later they will be the easiest thing in the world.
Tip: When going for an interview look the person in the eye or in their direction. Don't lie, be honest. Smile a lot and you'll do fine.

The Stage
The stage is a place of many things and emotions. You can turn into almost anything depending on the performace you're doing. It could be drama, dance, circus acts, magic, singing or band performances which was the case for me today. A school concert band performance in front of a few hundred people which could be really nerve racking unless you know how to handle it. Though, at the same time it can be so exciting and very fun and like I said earlier there can be many emotions because of your performance and since this was a performance where you play music there was quite a bid of that like happiness, sadness and seriousness.
The stage truely is a wonderful place because you can turn it into whatever you like and show off your many skills and talents.
Thank you again to my awesome friend for writing this. I'll try and get the next one up.

Camping
It's something most people probably don't do so often but it's something that is worth doing or going on when one comes up. A camp. Especially a camp that involves at least 50 of your friends. When you have a big group of friends like that on a camp then you end up doing a lot of fun and enjoyable activites or games. During the night is probably the best ways to play games, it makes things a lot more exciting. Like spotlight. spotlight is a great and classic game you can play when your on a camp during the night or you could play a big game of capture the flag which is another great and classic game to play. I've played capture the flag many times before during the night. Wondering how? Simple. A whole load of glowsticks. Use glowsticks to mark the halfway point, the jail and use them for the flag itself. Trust me, it's a lot of fun but thats of course if you can survive the cold weather. It can get extremely cold during the night. Even more when your close to winter. This is why you make a fire. I mean whats camping without a fire right? Making a fire should be one of the first things you do when going on a camp because it's pretty important to have plus you can make roasted marshmallows as well.
Basically, camping can be one of the most fun things you can do because you get to go out and get closer to the natural world around you and you can relax and forget about civilized things like work or school.
Thank you to my friend for writing this today.

Where does it go?
I will state the obvious, it is Friday. It feels like yesterday was Monday but there have been three days in between then and now. Time really does fly by. Not only when you're having fun but also when you're doing nothing. I was doing my school work like everyone else but my mind was elsewhere, it was completely blank. Not only is my mind still blank, I can't remember what I've done this week.
So my big question for you guys is, where does time go? I can't seem to find it or see it fly by. It does't seem to stand still or go in the opposite direction. It only goes one way, forwards, staying a constant pace. It does not go any faster or any slower.

Best school night!
Wow. Who knew the best school night of the week could be at school? Wondering why I'm hanging out at school way after it finished because my school had an open night. There were about 100 students who gave up their night to come back to school and help and they had lots of fun doing it. Hey, school is fun and way too much fun at night. Help, have fun, muck around a bit with friends, a night couldn't get better than that!? Well a school night anyway.
The next time your school had an open night or something, put your name down to help. It may be school and it may be boring but it is way better being at school with friends talking than it is to sit at home and talk over the internet.

Paper work
Almost everyone's worst nightmare is paper work. Having to fill out forms, sign them and mark them isn't fun. (Leave it to your parents for as long as possible.) Tonight with a bunch of friends and other kids from my school attended a meeting and had lots and I mean lots of paper work to fill out. Getting a ton of information makes it really hard to remember everything. Be glad you have your parents to remember for you if you forget because they are quite helpful when it come to reminding you about things. I have had plenty of experience.

Listen and learn
Ever had a complicated equation or question? Maybe it was a brand new topic that made no sense or was too hard and you could never understand, well that's me most of the time. Today I had done the topic before, but did not understand at all how to do any of the equations. Great news, I have friends who do and they are extremely helpful because they know how to do it and can explain it! They don't do it for me and I don't copy, they just explain what I have to do and check my answers. Who knew, I got them right and have a pretty good understanding of how to balance a chemical equation.
It's not as hard as you think it is. If you listen, you learn. You aren't expected to get it the first time or even the second but after a while, one way or another you get told in a way you understand and then you can do it.

Drifting
What does every person do when someone is babbling on about something you don't want to listen to or have to go somewhere they don't want? Drift off, let their mind wonder and in some cases fall asleep. But where do you drift off to and what do you think about? Well it all depends on the person really but where their minds drift off to, they all have it in common. If you haven't guessed it it's something happy, a place, person, thing etc. it's still something happy. I do it all the time. I drift off to the most peaceful places on earth and for me that is running water, open spaces with lush green grass and clear blue skies.

A friendly visit
A friendly visit can be a really nice thing to when you haven't seen a friend or someone you're close to for a while. You do this to catch up and see what they've been up to or just to say hello if you know, you're in the neighborhood. Today, in my case was visiting some elderly family friends with another friend which sounds kinda boring because the elderly are usually slow and talk about things you're not interested but this particular elderly couple is different. Different because they don't speak English. They can really only speak Spanish which is why I had my friend with me to translate. Now to me, this was pretty cool because you could get to listen to extremely fluent Spanish. A language that I cannot understand any of. It was quite fascinating just sitting there and just listening to them talk, but this too could be a boring thing because you don't know what they're saying. This couple knew I couldn't understand them but they still appreciated the visit.
So, If you get the opportunity to go out and visit some elderly friends then just do it because they'll appreciate and it might even make they're day and maybe your own.

Fits right in
When your parents are divorced things aren't the greatest and things don't always work out. But when one parent gets a boyfriend or girlfriend (in this case girlfriend) it's work out perfectly. Meeting her whole family, spending days with them and going to dinners it feels like they have always been part of your family. Having kids that all get along in many different age groups, never running out of things to say or do and hanging out, playing or sleeping is fun.
Just because they're aren't your family by blood, they are still family by heart. They will not try to replace your family or anything and they can't because nothing can. All they want is to be part of your life and join your current family.

Off days
Being sick and stuck around the house is no fun, well it is if you don't like school. But when your parents take you to work with them it is so much more fun than being at home or at school. (That's coming from someone who will do anything to be at or go to school.) Having the day out and about, driving around town and doing work while being sick makes you feel productive.
Having one off day doesn't mean you can take them any time you want. Every once in a while when you're sick or away for some other reason is okay, but not every day or every week.

Being sick
Being sick or getting sick is not a nice feeling. You just feel like crap the whole time. The sore throats, a blocked or runny nose, rugging up to stay warm or cold and not being able to do much about it, yep it pretty much sucks. Going to bed early and staying home from school or being stuck in bed for the weekend sucks as well. Yeah, as much as you think staying home from school is fun, it's not. Your friends are at school so there goes talking, there's not much on tv so that's gone too, your family is at school or work so you're home alone and games and other things get boring after while. Getting sick for the weekend means sleeping in and staying under your parents orders.
Do try your best to not get sick.

Taking the next step
The transition from high school to college is both daunting and challenging. Going to one college to see what it has to offer and then going to others, comparing is a bit hard. They basically have all the same things, just some specialize in certain areas. What is there to consider? For me it's mainly teachers, the size of the school and how it is set out and of course what courses or classes it has to offer.
I personally don't get how the system works and all with minors and majors and all the other combinations. It is the most confusing thing I have ever heard of!
For all of you taking that next step in your life, I wish you luck. Hope it is the right one for you.

How much can one day contain?
How many things is it possible to feel in one day? I can list about ten or more to explain my day but that would take to long. Lost and uncomfortable sum it up perfectly.
An information overload can completely lose someone. When you need to know a lots of information about one thing, in a really short period of time is stressful and way too much. An example for you is college, needing to know how it works and what is has to offer, I really don't want to go through that again. And well uncomfortable, I am going to leave that up to your intimation. (Just don't take it too far, it wasn't that bad...)
Falling and finding your ground over and over again throughout the day isn't all that great. Having nearly every possible emotion isn't best, but it does make for an interesting day...
And thank you again to my awesome friend who wrote yesterdays blog.

Those grey days
Today where I live, we had on of those grey, gloomy and wet days. A day where there was hardly a peep out of the sun because of the thick clouds hovering over and covering up the sun. These days are not the greatest unless you're a person who likes them of course. Whenever this kind of weather comes, it can very easily put someone in a sad mood mainly because it's not only wet but cold too. There is a way to remain happy during this kind of weather though and it's all in your head. Try not to get the look of everything outside into your head. Just remember that after rain, there are always beautiful and sunny days and the earth is once again clean. In the end, just be happy whatever the weather.

Mother's Day
Mother's Day is not just a day for your mum, but also your family. You all pitch in to do stuff for her. It's her day so that means opposite day for kids! Sorry kids, but it's our turn to do everything instead of nothing. Your mum does a lot more than you think, so doing it all for her, one day a year is nothing, you, we should be doing it way more often.
Today it was about my mum and my grandmother. Going out for a high tea or lunch is what makes my grandmothers' Mother's Day. It's a special day, we spoil them. Also doing the Mother's Day Classic (fun run) for all those who have died, survived and have cancer is the first thing we do in the morning.
Make your mums' Mother's Day the best one she has ever had. She is your mother do respect her and do do stuff for her, not just on Mother's Day but every day! She can feel special more than once a year.

Compertion vs. fun
Playing sport isn't all about winning, it's about playing as a team and having fun. You still play competitively, you have to, but whether you win or lose doesn't matter. If you've tried and lost, that's great. You still had fun and you tired your best, there is no need to beat yourself up. If you won, that's great too because you tried and had fun. Working as team, trying your hardest and having fun is all it takes to be a winner. You can lose and still win, just depends on which way you look at it.
It is never about winning or losing, only about having fun.

You are pretty
Are you pretty? That's not a question, it's true. People think they're ugly when they are pretty, fat when they are skinny and stupid when they are smart. If you think that you are ugly, you're not. You are in fact pretty. When your friends say that you are pretty or beautiful, they aren't lying, they are telling you the truth. The truth you do not wish to believe. When a boy calls you pretty or beautiful do you believe them or do you say 'no I'm not'? It's the best compliment you can get from a boy, don't shoot it down.
I never used to think I was pretty, I thought I was ugly. My family said I was pretty, my friends said I was pretty, I didn't believe either of them. After hearing it over and over again, I started to think I was and know I do.
It doesn't take much to change the way you think. Just believe in yourself. Because when your friends say that you are pretty or beautiful they mean it! They won't lie to you about it, why would they? The solution is not make up but to believe.

Babies
Childcare is awesome. You can decide on whether to agree or disagree but I love it. What is a 15 year old doing at childcare, during school hours instead of doing other things? Is that what you're thinking? Well at my school there is something called ECE (don't ask what it stands for because no one knows). ECE is like a class of your free choice, you do it for 78 minutes every second Thursday. Mine is childcare and caring for babies aged 0 to about 20 months of age. They're so cute! (I want one now.)
Building blocks are used to make towers right? Well according to someone at the age of one that is not important. You build it and the important part is knocking it down. Trust me, it's a lot of fun. Copying people is also a much better way of talking. Gotta love baby logic, it is just that simple!
Remember, little kids and babies are cute and adorable NOT scary little monsters. You are scarier than they are.

Sorry
What does sorry mean? Feeling regret, compunction, sympathy and pity, thank you dictionary. Well, I don't really have much for you guys tonight, but I'll still give it a shot. Sorry if you don't like it but I got nothing else.
You say sorry when you hurt someone, do something wrong and sometimes when you do something right. You use it without trying because you use it so often, mostly when you don't need to.
Sorry again guys, but that's all I've got. I promise tomorrow will be better.

Don't hold it back
When you're sad and you feel then need to cry, cry. The same goes for being angry, shout, scream, let it out. Don't hold it back, it doesn't make it go away. Being happy is a bit different, but still show it and let it out.
Me today, I had the need to cry. You don't know when, you just start. Me, it was half way through fourth period. I couldn't do much about it. To be honest, I felt a little bit better afterwards because I'd let it out. Letting it out doesn't mean it's gone and you feel perfect or brand new, it still makes you sad but you feel better.
You can cry alone or on someone's shoulder. You can be angry alone or with someone else, just don't hurt them and you can be happy alone or happy with the world. It's all up to you, but don't always keep it to yourself.

Back in time
How often do you look back on your childhood? All the fun times you had, where you had them and who spent them with? I do that a lot. The one thing that stands out for me is primary school. The place you made most of your friends and the time your imagination was at it's best. An open area of grass was a spaceship, the moon, a bunch of trees was a house. Anything was everything you wanted it to be!
Don't forget the days of your childhood. That does mean go and relive them, just remember them. They make you smile, they make you sad and they make you cry. The friends you've lost and the friends you've gained. Childhood is not supposed to be a straight line, it does have it's peaks and downfalls.

A weekend away
Hey guys, I'm back! A big thank you to my friend for yesterday, very cheeky of you to do that but it was a lovely surprise.
Going away with family is great fun. Going to the snow when there is no snow is a bit disappointing, but when there is family around...nothing is ever disappointing. (Which is both a good thing and a bad thing.) Some very interesting conversations (that are never to be mentioned again) were had. Ever had to leave something behind, because you had very good reason to? That was my trip.
What happens away, stays away. Never to be repeated...

Surprise!
Hey everyone, its the teenage girls friend here. She doesn't know that I'm doing this and she wont until she gets back tomorrow but I already am. I'll keep this one short.
Surprises are normally really good things whether it's a party, a random gift, a visit or this. I guess you could call this a gift. Your choice. Surprises are designed to suddenly bring up an emotion from another person. This doesn't necessarily mean it's a happy one but I won't get into that. This is supposed to be one of those happy surprises so I'll keep it happy.
Just keep an eye out, you could get surprised at any moment.

Mysteries...
Most people would call this stupid, but I call it funny, intelligent and skilled. Falling off a chair that has four legs on the ground. Don't ask how I did, I just did. I was holding a table, siting in a chair trying to pick something up and...on the floor? Yeah, so smart. To make things better everyone just laughed, I was too and it was pretty funny. Best part is that I still don't know how I fell off that chair.... I guess it will always be a mystery. Until I do it again, I'm very sure I will.
Have you ever done something as smart as what I did today? I'm sure you have.
On another note, I have two things to say:
1. I'd like to thank my friend again for doing yesterdays blog on such a sort notice. I tasked him like five minutes before he posted it, so thank you for doing that.
2. There will not be any posts for the next two days as I am going away and my friend will also be away so he cannot do it either. Sorry, but it is the only solution I had. Sorry again but I will be back on Sunday, I promise you that.

Tests
In life, you have to go through tests. You have to. You can't escape them because they are apart of your life. These tests can be trails you have to face or it could be the kind of test where you sit at a desk with a pen or pencil with a sheet or sheets on the desk in front of you. This is the kind of test I'm mean. It was the third day back to school today and guess what.....A test, but not just a test, three tests and to make it even worse, they were all after one another! Yes, there was the lunch break in between the second and third test and the third was just a simple spelling test but c'mon it's just the third day back! At least let us get back into the routine a bit before you give us a test or three.
I must say, teachers can get on your nerves sometimes. I'm sure you all agree. I really do hope its not like this for anyone of you.
