So we have a few theme parks in Australia, the main big ones are in Queensland, there's a small water park/pool in the Australia's Capital, one in Sydney, New South Wales and another really tiny one in the same state. (Apologizes I don't know how many theme parks we have.) It's called Magic Mountain and it's more a family theme park where young kids can have fun on anything. There isn't much there but the bobsled ride goes down a mountain side and then carries you all the way back up. It's magical if you have that sort of imagination. The roller-coaster isn't big either, but it's not scary so you can enjoy it. I'll admit, there's a total of about 6 rides but they're family and little kid friendly and you have a lot of fun.
It might not be the 'theme' park for you, but if you don't want to go on any rides you're free and if you want to go on some it doesn't cost a lot. It's probably my favourite.

Peaceful, quiet
Walking along the beach is one of the peaceful things one can do. You hear the waves crashing against the sand and the water comes up to your feet. There's other people around but you don't notice them. The ocean is a peaceful place, beyond the breaking waves is a different world and you can only see the calm top surface.
Take a book down the beach and read a little if that's the kind of person you are. I do that quite often and time really does fly, you end up being there half a day without realizing.

Going and forgeting
Sorry for the late post I'm down the coast and there's little reception anywhere really. I'll give it my best to post everyday until I'm back but yeah, sorry if they're late.
Groin away anywhere you have to pack. You remember everything but always forget something. Don't deny it, you always forget one thing. That thing is generally important... I'm the only one in my family to forget stuff and this time I forgot my toothbrush... Yeah, that's pretty important if you ask me. So I had to buy one. Most people forget chargers or hairbrushes or toothbrushes, the important things. If you're going away and it may not be as often as I do, double or triple check everything and have a list, they really help.

Catch up/hang out
So you've all been in the bush, yes? Well a friend of mine lives in the country and she had a party get-together with a bunch of friends, it was an awesome! I hadn't seen any of the people there since school ended, that's about 7 weeks ago! It was fun to catch up but I'd forgotten how much fun my friends were. We went down the river and had the best time ever. Swimming, jumping off rocks and following over a current over rocks...good times.
It's true what they say, they friends you have in high school are your friends for life. You can hate them all you want, but you'll still love them to bits and they'll always be there for you.

Job hunting
So I'm looking for a job. I typed up a resume with a little help and went job hunting. When you go job hunting have at least 10 places in mind where you'd like to work. This allows you to have more than one option and means you may more chances of getting an interview that may or may not get you the job. Also if you get a few interviews and you get more than one job it's more money and less time you have to spend around younger siblings and parents. Juggling school may be tricky but set out a plan and use your time wisely and you'll be fine - I struggle with school but I'm giving it a shot.
Tips:
1. Ask to speak to the manager when handing in a resume. (It's nice to meet them and make a good first impression.)
2. Smile and be confident
3. Don't stress, it's easy as
4. Always take spare resumes with you - for just in case.
Good luck! ^_^

Cat
Don't have much for today but here's a funny cat video for you to have a laugh at. Not made by me, just something I found online.

Catch!
Ever gotten food and thrown it in the air, attempting to catch it in your mouth? I do it all the time, mainly with food I can throw though, it is fun experimenting with things. Tonight my family thought popcorn would be something for me to try and catch... It did not go straight, it went in every other direction... They had fun throwing it at me, hit my on the face but did not land in my mouth. It was pretty funny and I got almost all the popcorn, great outcome.
I know parents say don't play with your food, but there's no fun in that. Give it a go, it's fun.

Magic
Magic, what everyone grows up believing to be the coolest thing in the world, and believe me it is. It twisted your head in, makes you think really hard and in the end you still don't get it. It may be an elusion and fake but you may not know that, for all we know it could be real and we'd never know...
The best movie in the world - and you may disagree - but watch the movie Now You See Me and your childhood will be blown away. Disagree all you want but until you watch it, don't say a thing, you'll think magic is the coolest thing around.

Forever In Our Hearts
I'd like to dedicate tonight's blog post to the family who lives across the road to a beloved family member who passed away on Saturday the 19th. I've been living across the road from them for 10 years and she was like another grandmother to all. She was loved by all and played a big part in the community. She did a lot for the primary school I went to while I was there and my best memory was when she took us to the nursing home for music class so we could sing for the people there.
Today was her final farewell and so many people from the community, friends and family came. It was a very sad day and will be hard for everyone, she was loved by all and she loved all.

Look For Me In The Rainbows
Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbyes
look for me in the rainbows, way up in the sky.
In the morning sunrise when all the world
is new, just look for me and love me, as you
know I loved you.
Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye,
look for me in the rainbows, high up in the sky.
In the evening sunset, when all the world is
through, just look for me and love me and I'll be
close to you.
It won't be forever, the day will come and then
my loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.
Time for us to part now we won't say goodbye;
Look for me in the rainbows, shinning in the sky.
Every waking moment and all your whole life through.
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Just wish me to be near you,
and I'll be there with you.
Thank you all, it means a lot to me and the moon to the family.

Break down
Super sorry for yesterday, I had a little break down about stuff.
I guess a teenagers do. You can't take the pressure, get upset and can't take it anymore, parents, friends, you name it and a teenager can lose it. I know I can and knowing how to control it would be nice, but then you couldn't let it all out. No one can have the best of both worlds. Let the big things out and the small ones in? It might help to control it when you really need it.
If you do break down don't take it out on others and don't blame yourself, don't blame anyone. That may sound stupid but it's better than arguing with someone over it and feeling bad.

Jelly legs
Bushing walking was a great idea, it meant I didn't have to go buy jelly... It was great fun but after 5 hours I didn't actually have any legs... It was worth it though, seeing the wildlife and almost stepping on a red-belly black snake! My mum comes up with some weird fun things to do because almost stepping on a snake was somehow the funniest part of the walk... Anyway, bush walking was great. Hiking up a steep hill and climbing up rocks was fun, best views are always from the top.
Give it a go, you see some pretty amazing sights and animals. Just don't step on any...

Gloomy days
Gloomy days can mean a gloomy mood. That just about sums up my day right there, gloomy and sad. It didn't have much to do with the sky but cloudy and overcast weather conditions don't help ones mood, not at all.
Don't let the day day bring you down, it's sometimes just a reflection of how your feel. Try to see your reflection differently.
Sorry if the posts aren't great at the moment, my moods taken a massive decline...

Looking back
You look back on the past and remember all those great times you had, all those memories. That's what happens in the end, you start looking back on the beginning and everything in between. You go back and realize somethings could have been different but if you changed them things might not be the way they were. Some things you wished hadn't happened said, done and seen but you can't change the past. Something just ended for me and I always look back, even though I should be looking forward.
Never get rid of your memories. Letting go of things in the past is hard but you never, ever, ever have to let go completely.
The end is just a new beginning...

After a while
So I've been away since the end of school basically and haven't seem or caught up with many friends... Being stuck in a house is no fun after a while so while talking to a friend he asked if I wanted to hang out and catch up. Did I?! Boy, did it make my day. It's fun hanging out with friends and spending time with them. And it's even better after not seeing them for a while because it means you have to spend more time with someone to catch up.
After a while, it takes a while.
Sorry there was no post yesterday, I did absolutely nothing and wasn't well.

Run out
I guess everything has a use-by date on it, most things do when you buy them in store. Apparently the only thing that doesn't is honey but I'm not here to lecture you about food and when to use it by.
The one thing you don't really use much in the holidays is your brain, well you do but when it come to thinking of stuff to do I guess you could say it only has so much use before it runs out off ideas and takes its own vacation. (Would've been nice to know when it expired though...) Mine did that today, I said bye to it around lunch time... Oh well, I guess you could say after that I basically did nothing.
Hope you guys are having more luck at thinking of things to do than me...

Walking
Walking is the easiest exercise to do. You walk every day without even thinking well if you didn't walk you wouldn't actually get anywhere... For me it's the best part of day. I can clear my head, get exercise, if I want to walk my dog and go anywhere - if it's not too far away. As it's hot I go in the evenings but it doesn't cool down much at all unfortunately. Anyway there is an upside to walking late in the evening, you get to see the sunset if you go at the right time and have a very clear view.
Don't know about you guys but I enjoy walking, you don't run out of breath and it's relaxing. Gotta keep fit one way or another in the holidays.

Horrible weather
So down here in Australia it get's very hot pretty much everywhere, like sharing it around the country. At the moment I think the country may be sharing it round by the week or every few days because it's 30-45 degrees Celsius right around the whole country. This week where I live it's 30-40 degrees and it's staying closer to 40... There's not much to do in the heat, you generally stay inside with your air-conditioning on doing nothing and I don't blame you. My only problem is I have to get out every day because I don't like being inside all the time. I'm pretty sure no one likes the heat very much, if you do, I probably will think you're crazy.
For those in the Northern Hemisphere where in some places it's -50 degrees Celsius, I really hope you're staying warm! Don't freeze...
Try your best to cop with the weather, wherever you are.
P.S. If you're living in Canada/USA in Toronto, please post a photo! The cold snap seems to have made Niagara Falls look super cool.
Cheers!

New style
Everything needs a new style after awhile. Music is a good example and so are houses. I've been changing my room for a while now and today and tomorrow the final things go into place. My room will never be completely finished but for now the style suits it and when I need a new style I can just change it. Yes effort is required but it's always worth it for the finished product.
I'm always in the mood for new music. Not because I don't like my old stuff but because again, new things come out. Don't get me wrong, I still love all my old stuff but everything needs that little bit of 'new' in it.
I do apologize if the post seem a tad boring but it's holidays and I'm at home and there isn't much to do so sorry if they aren't that good. Thanks :)

Home sweet home
Hey, I'm back. Just want to thank my friend who did my blogs for me while I was away. I know he didn't do every day but I did ask a lot of him to do so and on such short notice too so a massive thank you and hope you enjoyed the last month almost, with my surprise post no and then.
I look forward to a great year of blogging! Boy have I missed doing a post every day.
So I'm back from holiday and boy have I missed home! Everything is different when you're away. Although they say home is wherever family is, it's never quite the same as living at home. Seeing friends and family and pets, coming back to everything you left behind. (Just saying, I really missed the taste of water and my own bed, and of course my dog and cat.) Going away is nice but I go away much too often, as you've probably noticed most holidays... Coming home from holidays has to be one of the best parts but it has its downsides too. After being at home for a while you start to miss being away, I know I do every time.
I guess that's the thing that will never change, coming home to the place you missed and then missing the place you were...

House sitting and pool
Hey everyone, again I'm so so sorry for not being anything for two days! I've had a couple late busy nights and I couldn't post anything.
So at the start of this week, my sister was asked to house sit a family friends place and yesterday, I decided to come over with her and hang out. It was a pretty good night staying up super late and watching movies we just rented plus this family has pets! Pets make everything a lot more fun! They have 2 adorable cats and 1 cute dog and they nicely snugged up yo us while watching movies. It was a pretty entertaining time. This was yesterday. The day before was just as good!
Pool. Not a swimming pool. Billiards! The game where you hit coloured, numbered balls with a white ball using a cue into holes. It's a lot of fun but I'm really not the best at it but it's so fun that I couldn't not play! It's a game requiring a lot of concentration, patience and sometimes even triangulation. It took a few shots to "find my game" but once I did, me and everyone else had a great time!

"Promotion"
Hey everyone, I'm so sorry, I didn't post anything yesterday, it completely slipped my mind only until I woke up today! I'll tell you about anyway just because my day today isn't worth reading.
In my church, there are certain so called "ranks" you could say that you go up as get older. Once you turn 12, if you're a boy, you become what is called a deacon and receive what's called the arronic priesthood but I won't get into that too much and for a girl, it's a beehive. When you turn 14, for boys it's a teacher (but not an actual one though you do teach lessons on occasion at church) and girls its a miamaid. This next one is what I became, a priest now that I'm 16. Let me assure you though, the title of priest is very different in my church than others and for girls its a Laurel. As a "priest" though, I can do a number of things in the church like assist with ordinations for others but one of the coolest things is that I'm given the ability to baptize others. So, if I were to bring a friend to church and convert them, then I myself am able to baptize them.
A priest at 16. It's gonna be interesting.

Painting
Today was a fairly dull day so excuse me if you fall asleep reading tonights post but it must go on!
So anyway, my younger sister is a bit of an artist. She has huge trunck full of art supplies. Brushes, different paints, prncils , you name it. Now my older sister has been experimenting on the sewing machine. She's got a basic understanding which was enough for her to make a kind if small curtain from old cloth. Her reason for these curtains was to hide the look of the bins in our house. Although light creamy coloured curtains are pretty dull so she asked me if I can decorate the curtains with my younger sisters supplies. Hmm a design for a curtain covering our bins? The first thing I came up with was Oscar the grouch! Why not? He lives in a bin which I figured was a good enough reason to paint him on the curtain and its looms pretty good if I do say so myself. I forgot how amusing it was to paint!

Holiday weight
Yep that's right. Just by looking at the title you know what I'm gonna say. C'mon! Admit it! Dont be embarrassed. Surely, we have all gained a bit of weight over this summer holiday. I know I have and for those miraculous people who haven't? Well, I admire you! It's bound to happen! You eat a huge amount of food on Christmas day and just as you get out of your ridiculous food coma, there's the new years feast! Two big feasts almost within a weeks of each other and correct me if I'm wrong but you probably don't wanna go outside and do anything because of the burning hot sun...or freezing cold snow. So, you just stay inside watch a movie or something so you can't do anything much to loose that weight unless you go swimming or skiing? Whatever you northern hemispheric people do.
It's a cruel world but there are plenty of ways even if your own home to get rid of those food babies!

Entertainment systems
Hey Everyone, it's back to that friend of hers!
I've been fairly busy around the house lately...normally when I say this, it means cleaning my room, the kitchen, bathroom...basically the in and outs of the place but not this time no. Remember what I told you about boxing day? Cheap sales? Yeah, well my parents bought a new TV, Blu ray player and a surround sound system! Guess who got to hook it all up? Me! Oh it was a lot of fun. Real guy stuff if you know what I mean! Once everything was hooked up, I took a step back and completely admired the work and then of course experienced surround sound and my did it sound amazing! But what is to become of the old TV? Don't worry, that's safe in my room. Shh!

Happy New Year
Hey, me again. Just wanted to welcome you all to 2014! Have you decided on how you want the year to go or are you just going day by day? Don't set your goals or standards too high or too low because nothing ever goes to plan. Hope for the best and take a positive mind to whatever you do and the year should be a breeze.
If you're thinking back to last year and think about school and weren't too happy with grades or your attitude or habits, you can change them this year, it's a fresh start.
Anything is possible and you're capable to do whatever you wish. Remember, a positive attitude and the will to try will get you a lot futher then not trying and not being bothered. Who knows, this year might be a huge success!
