It is up to you to trust someone or believe them but before you don't, do not think they are crying wolf the first time.

Trust
To me there are two types of trust; the trust in someone when you put your life in hands and the simple trust of asking someone to believe you. When you friends don't believe something you tell them over and over again, you question how much of the stuff they do believe. I'm not crying wolf, I am telling the truth. Friends are the people who believe you, help you and the people you trust. It shouldn't be the other way around.

You never actually left...
Going back to school and sitting through your first class, you forget about what you did in the holidays and the holidays all together. You never leave school and school never leaves you. Well it does, after you finish at university or college or whatever and wherever you wish to finish school at. But leaving school or finishing it doesn't mean you finish learning. No. You learn until the day you die. So it's like you are always at school.
School is great and it also sucks (I'll admit that) and learning is the same. You learn great things and things that don't matter or things that really just suck and wish you didn't know.
But all in all you are always learning, remember everything school teaches you and school never leaves and you never actually leave it.

Everything comes to an end
Back to school tomorrow and that means the school holidays have come to an end. Two weeks to relax, have fun and do other stuff besides school work. Having two weeks to do anything is great, but you do start to miss school. You may not admit it but you do, everyone does sooner or later. And you do need school, not just to learn but socialize with people. You also see friends you haven't seen and there's so much of this thing called 'gossip'. Somehow people love it, I don't know how but they do. Also hearing about others holidays is fun and sometimes you can relate.
Have fun back at school.

Miss a beat?
What makes your heart skip a beat? Someone jumping out behind a corner or how about your sister being rushed to hospital? When your mother yells at you to take the dogs and all the shopping because she is rushing your sister to the hospital, is something that makes my heart skip a beat and then hold my breath. If you're worried, she is fine and it was a one off thing. Which is a huge relief.
Not just that but many other things can make you miss a beat too. It could be a big thing like my sister going to hospital or a small prank by a friend, but big or small you still get the same fright.

Forgetting and remembering
I don't have the best memory when it comes to remembering things, most people don't. Especially when you are a teenager and on school holidays, who remembers they have assignments due in a few days? Not me. You look at them, say you'll do them and then forget within the next ten minutes. I've got three to four days to start and complete two assignments plus finish left over homework. Assignments aren't the best way or even the most fun way to finish the holidays but they do get you back into the spirit of school...right? Doing them might even help you remember what you did in the last term.
Start your assignments when you get them and do them in small bits and pieces and do not leave them to the last few days. You don't have to take this advice as it is completely optional but I'm warning you. Hey, I might have just helped you remember you had your own to do.

Camping
Outdoors, soaking up the sun, going down the beach, jumping in the pool is the good life of camping. That does happen in real life, not just the movies you know?
Driving down and up to the coast is probably the most boring part of the whole trip. I did say boring but that doesn't mean the scenery is ugly, no it is quite pretty (if you like dry Australian fields full of cattle and nothing). Put music in you ears, talk, sleep or just do nothing the trip is a pleasant one.
Actually camping (may it be a tent, camper van, motor-home, those trailer tent things) is great fun. Some would say it is relaxing, others exciting and a few might say just plain boring. I say it is all of the above.
Something is only as fun as you make it.
The biggest THANK YOU in the world to my friend who wrote my blog while I was away. You are an amazing friend! I hope you all enjoyed his blogging because sometimes it's nice to read something you have but didn't write.

Baby sitting
If you're someone with a much younger brother or sister or any other relative in the family, then it's mostly likely that you would've had to have baby sat them if your parents at work. This can be a very scary or a very fun experience all depending on the age of the person your baby sitting or how many you have to baby sit at the one time.
In my case, it was a fairly fun experience. I didn't have to do anything too extreme. Baby sitting can be as simple as just watching a movies or going out the park. Basically anything that you and the person your baby sitting agree on doing but at times it's not that simple. Just a bit of a warning to those who have not baby sat someone before and also be aware that it is a pretty big responsibility so be extra careful.

The movie theatre
Going to the movie theatre whether it be with friends or family or depending on the kind of person you are, yourself, can be a lot of fun. Going to the movie theatre gives you the opportunity to see any new movies that have been made and have been released before they go onto DVD. It alsao means you can buy the classic tasting popcorn that the theatre provides along with other good tasting confectionery and it has comfortable seats. Another great thing about the theatre is that you don't know what to expect because you've never seen what ever you may be watching or if you are with friends, that can make things very...interesting.
All in all the movie theatre is a wonderful place to go. This is of course, if you're watching a movie that does or doesn't interest you. A reason to go by yourself maybe?

Lazy days
Everyone probably knows what I mean by a lazy day. For me, today was one of those days. A day where you do absolutely nothing except relax and lounge around. Sometimes, once in a while having a lazy day can be good to just relax and get back all your energy you may have used previous days. Although, making every day of your holiday a lazy day I do not advise. It is good to get out, be active and productive. There is a lot to do and such little time to do it in. So it's good to get out and do things but sometimes on rare occasions you really do need a break from everything which is then, you can have one of those lazy days.

Bush Walking
Where I live, there is a lot of bush or forests, pure nature. Where I'm from we call it the bush. These bush lands are probably the most beautiful parts of the earth because it's nothing more than glorious nature. When your bush walking you are completely surrounded by trees, shrubs, wildlife, natural rivers or streams and cliff faces or different rock formations. Going walking in areas like this can be one of the most relaxing things you can do. When you're in these areas you're isolated from the rest of the world and you can just forget about everything and just enjoy the magnificent views that the world has to offer to you.
To those who have the opportunity to go out for walks within the deep parts of nature, then go. Go for a walk and see what is out there and I promise you'll feel absolutely relaxed when you're enjoying what is really out in the world around you.

Renovations
Renovations around your house can be at times fun depending on what kind. It can also be a bad thing because it means a lot of work which of course can be very tiring and very annoying like how it was today. Don't you hate it when you're having a dream and then you get woken up suddenly just at the good part of the dream? Well, this is what happened to me today with the sound of really loud hammering.
I hope you all don't have to endure what I did this morning especially if you're on school holidays which I am on now.

Birthdays
Birthdays come once a year just like Christmas, Easter and New Years. Mine was today and I am now 15! Birthdays remind you that you are getting older and growing up. You look back on birthdays and the years past. The older you get - to me - you seem to remember all the birthdays you had when you were younger. Birthdays aren't as fun as they used to be but it's still your birthday and it's still always a great day.
I don't know when your birthdays are but I'm pretty sure they are a great day.
For the next week or until next wednesday my blog will be written by a great friend of mine. He has written two posts before and I leave you in great hands. Hope you enjoy and I look forward to reading my own blog! Good luck!

Being outside
Are you one of those people who always stays inside? Have your parents nagging you go play outside because you need fresh air? It's true, you do need fresh air and being outside it good for you. You don't have to run around and be active, you can sit outside and talk of a go for a small walk?
My reasons for being outside are fairly simple; it's a prettier view, it is nice and sunny, there is a breeze and you can go further than 20 meters before you walk into a wall. Good reasons? I think so.
If your parents make you go outside, go outside. Go for a short walk, or find a quiet place and enjoy the scenery or just the peace and quiet. Don't argue with your parents because they know what is best for you. I've learnt the hard way a few more times than once.

Mood swings
Who doesn't get mood swings? One minute you can be the happiest person in the world and the next you are grumpy, sad, crying or angry. Sometimes they last ages, other times just a few seconds. Just going to put it out there and say mood swings suck. Others have no clue what's going on, neither do you if you're honest with yourself.
You won't be the the same as before afterwards but you get better...most of the time. If you go from angry to happy, don't go back to being angry. If it is the other way round do go back to being happy.
It does wear off, just give it time.

Grandparents
Grandparents are the oldest members of your family. Yes, spending time with is boring, but hey, they are old not young footy players. They don't have a lot of energy or a lot of time left. They mainly talk and most it is boring but time with them is precious.
Going shopping with them and getting gifts from them is special. Being with them is special. Just having them around is the most special thing of all.
If you think they embarrass you, they're not. They are showing how much they love you in their own way.
They don't have long left and neither do you. Once they are gone, they are gone. Spend all your spare time with them. They're loving, not embarrassing. Treasure every moment you got left. (That is an order, not an invitation!)

It sucks, but it gets better
Ever feel unwanted, useless, invisible around your own home or with friends? I so I know what you feel like. The answer is not to runaway or suicide or anything like that, just keep to yourself and if you need to, talk to somebody. It can't be more simple than that. If you are feeling unwanted, useless or invisible, don't stay around because it makes you feel worse. Leave, go elsewhere or find other people is the answer. Keeping to yourself is what I find to be most helpful. It may make you feel lonely but you do feel better after a while. Put music on, talk to friends like nothing is wrong, do something enjoy and you're the opposite to before.
Don't stay.
Talk to people.
Do something you enjoy.
Three simple steps to feeling better.

Rollerblading
Rollerblading and Ice skating, what's the difference? Well, for starters ice skating is only done on ice and has a single blade of metal that runs down the middle. The jagged front is used as a brake. Rollerblading on the other hand is the opposite. Instead of a blade there are four wheels and one brake at the back, not two at the front. Also with rollerblading you do it on solid ground.
They don't have a lot in common but they are both boots with blades or wheels underneath. They allow you to glide across both ice and solid ground.
Tip: when starting wear protective gear - it makes parents feel better and you don't hurt yourself as bad as you would without it. Also, stay centered with your knees bent, that way you won't fall over...hopefully.

Productive days
What's the first thing you want to do when you finish school? Relax. Yeah, I would have loved a day like that, but mine was no where close to relaxng.
Now "spring cleaning" is normally done in spring, I did mine in autumn (half a year early or half a year late - whichever you wish). I volentied to clean some of the house and my whole room, who does that one the first day of the holidays?! Now you're probably thinking I'm crazy, that's not true, that's just me.
First time ever I did something productive all day long. It's a crazy thing to do on the first day of the holidays, but you can accomplish a lot by just trying.

Last day of term 1
The last day of school is almost every students favourite day. Some teachers may have given you assignments to do over the holidays, others a test on the last day of school, but it's worth it. Two weeks to complete assignments, not just afternoons but whole days! I know, more time to do them.
For those who don't have anything school work - lucky people - get to hang out with friends, go to the mall, away with family or just laze round the house. Enjoy your holidays!
Today is my dads birthday. Happy birthday dad, have a great one. <3

Cold weather
Wherever you live, may it be Autumn or Spring you have some cold nights and some warm. Twenty degrees isn't that cold, but I'm me and that's cold. Standing outside for an hour, in the dark might make it feel colder than it is, but it shouldn't feel like a freezing temperature, just cold.
Some people live in minus temperatures, I call you crazy. You do get used to living in conditions like that, but still crazy.
If you get cold - like me - rug up warmly whenever you go outside, especially when you go outside at night.

Memories and good times
Ever locked something up for safe keeping or forgotten about something and then it comes back to you? Sad memories you try to forget about, but they always seem stay in the back of your mind, no matter how hard you try. The day they come back is exact reason for which you tried to forget about them the first place.
Today, the 10th of April, two years ago my great grandfather passed away. Over the year you tend to forget, but come the day it happened all the memories and good times come back. The happy memories make you happy as well as sad. Remembering all the good times you had, but sad because you can no longer make new ones.
Hang onto your memories. Nothing lasts forever.

Autumn
Autumn or Fall, is the season where all the trees slowly start to change their colours as it slowly gets to Winter. This is the season that I'm in now. The weather is usually not too hot or too cold but here where I live, the weather can be very unpredictable. In my opinion, Autumn is one of my favorite seasons because of the different colours that the leaves turn. If it's red, yellow or still green. Altogether they look great.
Again, another huge thank you to my very great friend, this time for writing today's post. I cannot thank you enough. ^_^

It affects others, not just you
"Smile and the world smiles with you, frown and you frown alone." Is what my dad always says. In most cases that true, but not others. When you're at school and sad friends try and help. When you don't tell them what's wrong they think they've done something to make you sad or they get sad. Friends want to help and you want to tell, but when you can't tell them because you can't put it into words, you make them sad and yourself sadder.
Friends are there for you. They are your shoulder to cry on when needed, help you through hard times, but most importantly they are there for you.

Daylight Savings
There are ups and downs to daylight savings. From the beginning of October through to beginning April the clocks are turned forwards an hour giving you an extra hour of daylight. When you reverse it so the - beginning of April through to the beginning of October - is when there are daylight savings and clocks go back an hour.
Daylight savings is wake an hour earlier or sleep an hour later, an extra hour of light or lose an hour of light. Either way you win and lose.
For now, just enjoy the extra hour you get to stay in bed before school. (Until you adjust of course.)

Family, nothing beats it
Nothing could beat a Saturday night hanging with family, especially when it comes to birthday dinner. Cooking a surprise dinner, having the best convocations and having the best deserts, who could ask for a better birthday dinner. (Before I forget it is for my dad. It's not his birthday, but as I am not with him next week we are having it early.) Watching movies, talking and celebrating is the best way to spend a Saturday night.
Nothing could ever beat a night with your family.
Nothing will ever replace them.
And you can never run from them.
Just, enjoy your time with them.

Dinner out
Dinner out is a great time to talk. During the week you are rushed, tired and busy. You don't talk about all the important things, that, should really get talked about. Going out to dinner with family gets you away from home, away from everything and allows you to talk about things you don't usually get to talk about. Going out at the end of week gives you many more things to talk about as well. Talking about the week, what you did, how it went, you would be surprised at how far that will take one convocation.

Dancing
Dancing comes in many different styles. For example line dancing, ballroom dancing, and ballet. For those of you who say you can't dance, you can. You stand there saying you can't swaying to the music, guess what, you dancing! You may not think it but you are. If you don't dance because you think others will make fun of you, do it, you miss out on a lot if you don't and I guarantee that you will be glad you did. (If it makes you feel better about dancing, I think I look really stupid when I dance. I do it because I enjoy it and have a great time.)
So try the next time you go to a party of out to dinner and there's a band playing. If you want to dance, dance! You will have fun.

Bad timing
I'm sure in life we have all been in the position you enter when it comes to bad timing. I mean for example, when you're with a group of your friends but in your own world and then decide to tune back into life just at the time you least wanted to? Yeah, that position. Most of the time it's not the best. Especially if it's something important like attending a job interview where first impressions are important or telling the teacher you haven't completed an assignment in front of your whole class. It can be quite embarrasing at times.
Have you had any of these experiences?
A big thank you to a very great friend for helping me with today's post :)

Photos
Photos, everybody's worst nightmare. They are even worse when you have no idea they are happening. I'm not talking about school photos that get taken every year, I'm talking about the really important ones. Like maybe the 75th anniversary of your school! I personally don't like photos of myself, but when I'm a big group of people (about 800) it's okay. Up until you find yourself, then it's always the first thing you see.
Have you ever been part of a really important photo?

Are you ready?
You've had a great four days worth of weekend, are you ready to go back to school? For those of you who aren't look at it this way, four days of school instead of five and then it is the weekend again! Plus your lunch has chocolate in it, only if you haven't eaten it all.
Make the most of however long you have before the day ends and go to bed at a reasonable hour. There has to be nothing else worse than turning up late after the long weekend. And missing school because you feel sick, you shouldn't have eaten all that chocolate you got!
