Work comes earlier

Sorry about there being nothing yesterday, I had a bit to do.
I know it's the first week back but it's actually week 2. I already have assignments and homework and its only the second day. The term has been moved forwards due to assessment at the end of term and the early holidays. Means more work at one time and not very much time to do it. You could start freaking out (like I am at the moment and stressing over the load) or start working and try not to think about them and just do them. Whatever you choose just don't freak out and don't do it.
Hope this term is a good one for all of you.

Back to school

Last day of holidays. The day to sleep in, last day to laze around and do nothing, to rush that homework you we meant to do and maybe try and forget that assignment? Tell yourself to have an early night but still go to bed late? Tell yourself to do all this stuff that you're going to do in the new term and still never do? The last day of the holidays is one of drama.
Don't forget to pack your school bag. And dig out that school work you hid somewhere in your room.

ANZAC Day

April 25th, 2014

ANZAC Day, the day where we commemorate the soldiers who fought for us in Gallipoli. In Canberra we have ANZAC Parade. Every ANZAC Day the a big march and the full ceremony - you'd probably have something at school. I went along today - not knowing there was ever anything on... - and had a good time. Listened to speeches, watched the march, stood right underneath the fly by of 3 jets flying very low and Prince William and Kate where there! (It's not everyday you get to see the royals with your own eyes and come within 20 meters of them.)

You never know

You never know what you'll see, happen or run into when you're out and about. I ran into my friend at the mall today and went shopping with her instead of alone. Hadn't seen her since school ended so it was a nice surprise. Got to catch up and chat. She kept me company while I went job hunting again. This time, please? Hoping for the best on that.
If you still want to hang out with friends before you go back to school you still have a few days. Go out and do something, anything.

Bowling

Sorry about yesterday and no post.
The school holidays mean you can hang out with friends outside of school! I mean that's great isn't it? And the best part is you can actually have fun when you're hanging out, cause school kills fun, you agree right? So I caught up with some friends today, more sorta like a double date but it was hanging out more the less. We went bowling, it's great fun. Winning, nah, all for fun. But when girls beat the guys I say well done, maybe just a hint of luck and they might have let us win... But bowling was great fun and hanging out, talking afterwards was great too.
So an idea for your holidays, go bowling with some friends. It's a good laugh, cause in all honesty, who can bowl???

Happy Easter

First things first, Happy Easter! Did the Easter Bunny come this year for you? Course he did, if you got chocolate then he visited you? Asking yourself why I'm talking about the Easter Bunny when I'm 16? Because I believe. It's not hard and it doesn't hurt and it's all part of the fun. You wake up and if you have siblings and parents you have to wait for them to get up or you could wake them up so you can go on your Easter egg hunt sooner. (Means you get chocolate faster and earlier. I wouldn't agree with that.)
What was the highlight of your day? (That does not have the word chocolate in it...) Haha.
Don't eat all your eggs at once, you'll get sick.

Sweet 16

Sorry for the last few days. I didn't think you wanted to hear about having a slight tummy bug or read a post I'd have to write in my sleep cause I stayed up for almost 48 hours.... Anyway you can hear about today, it's my birthday.
So I'm now 16. 'Sweet 16' is what it seems to be called. And that's because you become legal but that's not important. My day was pretty slack. Got presents a breakfast, went for a drink with my dad and then watched movies. I would've like to have seen a few friends but I still was feeling great from the other days...
Now you always have some special dinner or lunch and then cake afterwards, yep. But I changed the idea of having a cake this year to muffins or cupcakes. The were yummy and there was ice cream too but after a big meal it's all filling.

Marvel movies

So I'll admit I'm getting a tad sloppy with these posts but some days will kill you cause they're that boring and others I just don't have anything to write about. It may be a post every 2 days if this keeps happening. I will try to prevent that.

If you want to go see a great movie like I did today, watch the "Avengers" collection you could call it made by Marvel. They're great. My friends love them. My family loves them. I love them. It's basically superheros saving threats from out of space and mechanically made drones I guess. They are jam packed with action and have some great fighting scenes if you're into that kind of stuff.
Hope you guys watch them. They're great.

Couch potato

Hey! I'm not dead, still alive, just. I'm just kidding, you can excuse my horrible humour. Sorry there's been no posts the last few days but I didn't want you to die reading about how boring and alike my days were, cause I almost died from how boring my days were...
Anyway enough with my bad humour and onto today's post. I've now been cooped up inside for 3 days straight. Talk about someone being a couch potato, I'd fit that perfectly, not leaving my bed of the couch... Well I did catch 2 buses today but still spent the day on the couch so I don't think that counts for anything.
Anyway if you're gonna be like me these holidays and do absolutely nothing like lie in bed or on he couch, make sure you have food and a stack of movies. Nothings better than lazying around watching movies all day...and all night if you want.

Schools out, party time!

I don't expect you all to remember a post from back in June last year but it was about going to a dance. Tonight was the same thing, but with a different theme. I thought it was actually more fun than last years dance. I laughed a lot more, dance a lot more - and by dance I mean looks silly moving around and jumping - and just got into it. Yes there were slow dances and they were romantic. (Just going to make it clear, dancing with my boyfriends younger sister wasn't romantic...but it was funny. Dancing with my boyfriend was romantic.)
Also went out to dinner before hand for my dads birthday dinner.
All in all I had an awesome night thanks to multiple people. ^_^

Tip: Don't eat a big yummy dinner and then dance for 3 hours, you feel sick and get a stitch...

Shopping with friends

I few events coming up in the next 2 weeks and wanted some new clothes; a dress to be exact. See I don't wear dresses so at the moment I'm thinking I'm crazy. Also the days here in Canberra aren't getting much warmer than a top of 20 degrees so wanting to wear a dress at this time of the year I must be crazy.
I went out with some friends to go shopping, which is always more fun than going shopping with family - in my opinion. They were very helpful too. (Always get someone else's opinion on something other than a family opinion because you don't always believe what people family says. Friends can make some great decisions too.)
Go shopping with friends. Yes, I am telling you to go shopping, and buy something you want that your parents may not allow you to have or like. Do something for yourself. You time.

Going out after school

I'm not allowed out after school and today as my parents were out of town I went out. I'm not the sweet innocent child most people see when they meet me. Going out after school sometimes is what you need. I don't go out much, mainly live in my room. This afternoon was great. It was peaceful. I didn't get home till late and ended up walking home in the dark. Although that was extremely an unsafe thing for a 15 year old girl to do alone, I took the risk so I got home at a reasonable hour.
Take an afternoon off one day and use that time for yourself. Not school. Not family. Just yourself or quietly with someone else.

Questacon

A new plan for the weekend has been put in place for my family so we do more activities as a family. Today we visited Questacon, Canberra's National Science and Technology Centre. It's always a place where you have fun and it's iterative learning too! Although by the time you're a teenager or an adult you know most of the things there but you never know, there might be something you don't know. Even big kids can have fun! The age limit, there is none. There's always something for every age and every mood.
Tip: Don't make a bet that someone won't do the 360 swing and say you'll go on the free-fall if you lose...
That was the bet I had going with my dad, I lost big time...

The Lion King

I'm sure you've all at least heard of the 'Lion King' and this is song the 'Circle of Life'. This has popped up on Facebook a few times and I love it, I can't stop listening to it. I personally think this is better than the original.
Out of all the airplanes I've ever caught in my life this has never happened on an airplane I've been on... I think I've been on the wrong flight too many times because having the cast of the Lion King on the plane and a free live performance seems like the best flight to be on. Wouldn't you agree?

Half dead

My boyfriend is a bit if a dare devil and today decided to play the meanest prank on me. He likes to climb things and tricked me into thinking that he fell off a very high building of some form. It wasn't a very nice prank and did make me terribly upset...
One thing you need to know is when you take something too far... The prank my boyfriend pulled on me was too far.
Don't pull a prank you'll regret or one that isn't funny. It's nice to prank sometime occasionally but don't ever take one too far. A small laugh is nice but not a mild heart attack.

Not just about you...

Sorry again for there being nothing but I am struggling to find stuff to blog about these days... I am open for suggestions if anyone wants to hear about something?

This is probably not something nice to blog about today but getting on the bus home today was rather annoying yet so funny to watch. As everyone should know waiting at the bus stop sucks, especially when your bus runs super late... When you get on the bus and a member of the public is having an argument with the bus driver over nothing really. Then they call the bus company and report the driver and they come out and the cops almost do too... It was a waste of time over nothing. This person wasted 10 minutes of not only their time but the bus drivers and everyone else's who was on the bus listening to them carry on.
Think of other people and what your actions might have on them. Nothing is always about you...
