Rollerblading and Ice skating, what's the difference? Well, for starters ice skating is only done on ice and has a single blade of metal that runs down the middle. The jagged front is used as a brake. Rollerblading on the other hand is the opposite. Instead of a blade there are four wheels and one brake at the back, not two at the front. Also with rollerblading you do it on solid ground.
They don't have a lot in common but they are both boots with blades or wheels underneath. They allow you to glide across both ice and solid ground.
Tip: when starting wear protective gear - it makes parents feel better and you don't hurt yourself as bad as you would without it. Also, stay centered with your knees bent, that way you won't fall over...hopefully.
