Are you pretty? That's not a question, it's true. People think they're ugly when they are pretty, fat when they are skinny and stupid when they are smart. If you think that you are ugly, you're not. You are in fact pretty. When your friends say that you are pretty or beautiful, they aren't lying, they are telling you the truth. The truth you do not wish to believe. When a boy calls you pretty or beautiful do you believe them or do you say 'no I'm not'? It's the best compliment you can get from a boy, don't shoot it down.
I never used to think I was pretty, I thought I was ugly. My family said I was pretty, my friends said I was pretty, I didn't believe either of them. After hearing it over and over again, I started to think I was and know I do.
It doesn't take much to change the way you think. Just believe in yourself. Because when your friends say that you are pretty or beautiful they mean it! They won't lie to you about it, why would they? The solution is not make up but to believe.
