Again today was Canberra Day. This morning I got up like last year but instead of going with family I went with a friend. They made the morning special and very different to last year. So the balloons were better last year but nothing is ever the same 2 years in a row. The whole morning was great - I did need to rest a lot because walking around for 5 hours after getting up at 5 a.m. you tend to not have a lot of energy.
If only every day could be a public holiday and every morning could be as special as this was... Maybe they'll be a next time.
