Paddle-steamers and The Murray

I am so deeply sorry a out there being no post yesterday, my Internet a d devices were crashing and not working. So I'll do yesterday's and today's as two separate posts. Also, I want to say a big thank to that awesome friend of mine who did wednesdays post.

Have you ever heard of the Murray River in Australia? Well today I went for a 1 hour boat ride on a steamboat down the Murray today. Echuca, in Victoria has the biggest and oldest inland port for paddle-steamers. From the mid 1800's to the early 1900's Echuca was the pain for transportation of both people, live stock and supplies.
These days it still has paddle-steamers in port and is the main tourist attraction for the town of Echuca. They give boat rides up and down the Murray and tell you all about it. I went on one 10 years ago when I was five. It was still as fun, relaxing - even though when I was five I didn't sit down, I ran about the boat - and even a little romantic. I recommend it to anyone who loves a boat ride, the Australians bush or just wants to try something new.
